Overall etiquette
Student’s Wappu is currently on, so it's good to remind yourself of overall etiquette. What do’s and don’ts should you know?
Overalls represent the education you are studying, so remember that when you wear overalls, you are a representative of your field. The overalls come in different colors: pink, blue, yellow, purple, orange and the list goes on. Overalls are the color code of your field, and on the back of the overalls is the logo of the educational institution and the field you are studying.
Overalls can be worn completely or knotted at the waist. It is said that only technology students put on overalls completely, but so can others if they wish. However, the "correct" way to put on overalls is to tie them at the waist. When knotting to the waist, the back should be folded so that the area you are studying remains visible.
Overalls MUST NOT BE WASHED. Overalls should not be put in the washing machine. If you want to wash your overalls, you should go swimming or showering with them on.
Overall BADGES ARE SEWN BY HAND. Badges should not be glued or sewn on overalls with a sewing machine. The badges tell about the student days of their bearer. Badges are available at various events and can be purchased to decorate overalls to look like themselves with funny meme badges or to tell a story about yourself and your preferences.
Happy Student’s Wappu!
