Student's Tampere ry is looking for two event producers for Syysfest 2025! 

Syysfest has been organised by Opiskelijan Tampere in Särkänniemi since 2018. The event brings together university students from all campuses at the beginning of the autumn semester by providing a fun way for older students to start the new academic year, as well as an excellent opportunity for new students to get to know other students and the Tampere amusement park culture. The purpose of Syysfest is to gather students together to spend a memorable day at the Särkänniemi amusement park. Syysfest is a good-spirited event in which alcohol does not play the main role. The purpose of Syysfest is to highlight Tampere as the most student-friendly city in Finland and to increase the sense of community between students from all campuses. 

The duties of event producers begin in early April and end in September with reporting. If you are excited to work in a team and want to be in the making of an event for the entire student community in Tampere, this is your place to apply! 

The tasks of event producers include: 

• Event marketing and visual design - your overall badge adorns thousands of students' overalls after the event!
• Planning the event's programme - what kind of form will the programme take to gather the best audience on the Estraadi stage? And what kind of quizzes and contests are invented for the Beach Terrace?
• Developing the event and collaboration in the student community - what skills can be utilized in the event?
• Final report after the fall festival. 

Qualities we expect from candidates:

• Determined attitude for action
• Student spirit, team spirit and knowledge of student culture in Tampere
• Good ideas for developing a big student event
• Previous experience in organizing events
• Fluency in either English or Finnish. In addition, good skills also in the other mentioned language.

In addition, you will benefit from the following:

• Knowledge of the Students’ Union of Tampere University of Applied Sciences or Student Union of Tampere University and associations
• Project management skills and self-management skills in teamwork
• Visual eye for creating marketing materials
• Graphic skills with eg. Adobe software or Canva
• Enthusiasm for social media content creation
