The Finnish Union of Practical Nurses, SuPer, is the largest professional union in Finland for those who have completed secondary-level qualifications and those studying in the fields of social and health care, as well as education and guidance.

SuPer is a strong and courageous advocate for its members, a developer of the professions and education, and a social influencer actively participating in international activities. SuPer is the only union focused on advocating for the rights of practical nurses and basic care workers.

SuPer is a member union of STTK (the Finnish Confederation of Professionals), which negotiates labor agreements and collective bargaining agreements on behalf of its members.

Local representation and advocacy for members are managed by SuPer's professional branches, workplace shop stewards, occupational safety representatives, and representatives in joint decision-making bodies.
