All amenities of downtown Tampere and the nearest bus stop are a short stroll away. Nearby, there is Särkänniemi amusement park, Vapriikki Museum Centre, historical Finlayson factory area, Tammerkoski Rapids and Tampere Central Square. Tampere railway station and Tampere bus station are about 1.5 kilometers away. Both Tampere University and Tampere University of Applied Sciences are a 10-minute bike ride away. Ranta-Tampella offers great opportunities for outdoor activities. The boulevard on the shore of Lake Näsijärvi features a pier, a beach, an outdoor gym, a park and a seasonal kiosk cafe. The walking paths along the Tammerkoski Rapids as well as the hiking trails in Kauppi forest are also within a walking distance. Smoking and pets are not allowed.
