Tampereen seudun opiskelija-asuntosäätiö (TOAS)
The Tampere Student Housing Foundation (TOAS) provides rentable student housing. All full-time students of any post-comprehensive educational institutions located in Tampere are eligible to apply for TOAS housing in one of their approximately 5000 apartments in more than 50 locations.

Insinöörioppilastalo Oy (IOT)
IOT Ltd, or Insinöörioppilastalo Oy, rents apartments primarily for the students at TAMK and PIRAMK. The apartments are near the school locations in downtown Tampere on Murtokatu and in Ruotula on Ritakatu. The owners of IOT Oy are the city of Tampere, Tamko (student union) and the Support Organization of IOT.

Kiinteistö Oy Opintanner & Pirkan Opiskelija-asunnot Oy
These two companies provide rentable apartments owned by the City of Tampere. Accommodation is offered to students of any post-comprehensive educational institutions in Tampere and for young working people under the age of 30.

Tampereen Seudun Nuorisoasunnot ry & Kiinteistö oy Kullervo
Nuorisoasunnot provides apartments to non-full-time students between age 18 - 29, couples and families with children. All rental agreements are made to limited period (max. five years). You may apply these apartments from here.

Kaukajärven Opiskelijatalo Oy
This student house, better know as Tupsula, provides apartments to engineering students of Tampere University of Technology. It is owned by Tampereen Teekkarisäätiö with Tampereen seudun opiskelija-asuntosäätiö.

Tampere Dream Hostel
Tampere Dream Hostel is a brand new design hostel run by a young, traveler-minded family. They offer excellent value-for-money in an international style hostel.

Kela is the provider of social security benefits for all residents of Finland, including student and housing benefits.

Muuttoilmoitus.fi - Change of address notification
In order to have your mail delivered to the correct address from the correct date, you should submit the Change of address notification or notice of delivery interruption well in advance. You can submit a Change of address notification to Post Office (= Posti) and/or a Local Register Office (= Maistraatti). You can submit the notification over the Internet or by telephone for yourself and family members who move to the same address at the same time.
